They claim to have paid out more money to their members than any other free paid survey site. Survey Savvy is highly promoted by its members due to its great referral program. Members receive $2.00 every time one of their referrals takes a surveys and $1.00 for every survey their referrals take, making it one of the best RECURRING referral programs available for a paid survey site. Beyond their referral program, Survey Savvy is a very solid survey site. Members are setup with a user account once they signup. You will be able to login to your account and fill out profile enhancers, check your balance, refer your friends, check your referral count and cash out. Survey Savvy pays strictly in cash, but you’ll need to remember to login and request payment in order to receive a check. There is no minimum amount that you need to have in order to request payment. You can expect to receive several paid online survey invitations per month, but will only qualify for a portion of them. They do tend to pay quite well for each completed survey, averaging around the $8-$10 range. Up until June 2005 they were sending out a lot of technical/IT surveys, but they did a site overhaul and seem to be sending out more general topic surveys. They began conducting online surveys in 1995 and in 2003 they joined with TNS making the new company TNS NFO the second largest research firm in the world. NFO is one of the leading paid online survey sites out there and accepts survey panelists from the continental United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. They use a points system where 100 points = $1.00 to reward for online survey participation. Points can be redeemed for cash, raffle tickets, charity donations or merchandise, which includes phone cards and iTunes downloads as well as other more conventional prizes. For every day that you login to NFO you will get a free entry into their quarterly $10,000 sweepstakes and a free entry into their 10,000 points a day (that’s $100) giveaway. You can also earn additional points by referring your friends. You'll get 150 points ($1.50) per referral. You can expect to receive a decent amount of paid survey invitations, between 2-4 per month. Of course this will vary based on your demographic. Typically when then send an invitation it will be for a low point amount, maybe 10 points. These can be considered qualifying surveys. You’ll take the survey, and if you qualify, it will tell you if you have qualified for the longer online survey, and ask right then if you would like to continue on and complete the survey for the rest of the points. Despite the name, ACOP operates worldwide and welcomes international members for their paid online surveys. Membership with ACOP is completely free and the panel is described as “a worldwide network of people who get paid for sharing their opinions and ideas by answering online surveys.” Typically, ACOP will send out a “screener” survey which will be used to qualify you for the longer, paid survey. Screeners are typically short in length and by filling them out you will be entered into a drawing for multiple cash prizes. If you qualify for a longer paid online survey, you will be rewarded with a cash payment between $4 and $50, depending on the length of the survey. They will also, occasionally host an online focus group, which generally pay at least $25. If you live in the United States or Canada any cash rewards for online surveys will be paid via check.
